PT Bonecom Tricom is proud to announce its participation in the 18th TPS Jishuken Happyoukai, organized by Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indonesia (TMMIN) on July 9, 2025. This prestigious event serves as a presentation forum for Kaizen (continuous improvement) activities implemented by Toyota suppliers within their respective operational environments.
Jishuken Happyoukai represents a tangible commitment to the Toyota Production System (TPS) philosophy in fostering a culture of continuous improvement throughout the supply chain. PT Bonecom Tricom’s participation in this forum reflects our dedication to continuous growth and our commitment to contributing positively to the Indonesian automotive industry ecosystem.
Kaizen: The Foundation of Our Continuous Improvement Culture
During the 18th Jishuken Happyoukai, PT Bonecom Tricom presented several Kaizen initiatives successfully implemented across three major operational areas within the company. Each improvement initiative was designed to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and maintain workplace safety for all employees.
- Production Area Kaizen: Enhancing Efficiency and Product Quality
Within the production area, PT Bonecom Tricom successfully identified and eliminated various forms of waste that hindered manufacturing efficiency. Key achievements presented included:
- Improved production line efficiency through workflow simplification and machine setup time reduction.
- Significant reduction of material waste through optimized raw material utilization during each production cycle.
- Enhanced product quality consistency through standardized work procedures and stricter quality control systems.
As a result, PT Bonecom Tricom’s production operations are now running at a higher level of efficiency, enabling timely fulfillment of customer requirements while maintaining consistent product quality.
- Maintenance Area Kaizen: Ensuring Equipment Reliability and Workplace Safety
Reliable machine maintenance is a critical backbone of sustainable production operations. Through Kaizen initiatives in the maintenance area, PT Bonecom Tricom successfully improved equipment reliability while strengthening workplace safety culture. Key achievements included:
- Implementation of a structured preventive maintenance system to minimize unexpected machine downtime.
- Improved workplace safety through maintenance area layout optimization and clearer standardized safety signage.
- Reduced spare-part waste through a more efficient and well-monitored inventory management system.

- Production Control Delivery (PCD/Shipping Management) Kaizen: Improving Delivery Accuracy and Flow Efficiency
The Production Control Delivery (PCD) or Shipping Management area plays a vital role in ensuring products are delivered to customers on time and in excellent condition. Through Kaizen initiatives, PT Bonecom Tricom achieved several significant improvements, including:
- Optimization of delivery flow processes to reduce lead time and accelerate product shipment to customers.
- Reduction of shipping errors through standardized packaging and labeling procedures.
- Improved warehouse space efficiency through disciplined and measurable implementation of the 5S system.
These improvements directly enhanced customer satisfaction and reinforced PT Bonecom Tricom’s commitment as a reliable supplier.
