First Generation of Bonecom
In 1960, Mr. Sujatim founded PT Bonecom, a company specializing in bone processing in South Sulawesi, Indonesia. As the business grew, Mr. Sujatim expanded his operations. He invested in better equipment, hired more workers, and began to explore new markets. By the mid-1960s, PT Bonecom was not only trading in the domestic market but had also entered the Japanese, United States, and European markets.
The opportunity entering Automotive industry comes in 1988, Mr. Sujatim founded PT. Kadera AR, which is a join venture company with Arawakawa Auto Body, Ltd. The company is a Automotive seat manufacturer for domestic and overseas market with Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indonesia is the main customer.
Establishment & Early Growth : Consumable Parts for Automotive (2009)
The history of PT Bonecom Tricom began in 2009 when the company was founded by Mr. Tommy Wibisono, a visionary entrepreneur and the third generation of the Bonecom’s family. Recognizing a significant opportunity within the Indonesian automotive industry, Mr. Wibisono set out to build a company that would specialize in trading consumable parts. This initial focus laid the groundwork for PT. Bonecom Tricom to build strong relationships with key players in the industry, establishing a reputation for reliability and quality.
Expansion into Manufacturing (2012)
In 2012, PT. Bonecom Tricom expanded its capabilities to include manufacturing. The company started producing tailored sewing seat cover parts, seat assemblies (Seat Assy), and metal parts. This strategic move allowed PT. Bonecom Tricom to offer a wider range of products and services, meeting the evolving needs of its clients.
Innovation in Coating: Electro Deposition Painting (2015)
Continuing its commitment to innovation and services, PT. Bonecom Tricom introduced Electro Deposition Painting (EDP) factory plant on jalan timor MM2100 in 2015. This advanced coating technique enhanced the durability and quality of the company’s metal parts, providing superior protection against corrosion and wear.
Plastic Injection and Extrusion Component Parts Manufacturing (2018)
In 2018, PT. Bonecom Tricom further diversified its manufacturing portfolio by starting the production of plastic parts. The Factory established and located in Jl Selayar IV Blok L MM2100. This expansion into plastic manufacturing marked another significant milestone, enabling the company to cater to a broader range of industries and applications.
Relocation of Sewing Facility (2022)
In 2022, PT. Bonecom Tricom strategically relocated its sewing facility to the KIIC Factory Plant (2022) and Tegal Factory Plant (2023). This move was aimed at optimizing production efficiency and expanding capacity to better serve its growing customer base. The new facilities are equipped with advanced lectra autocutting technologies and enhanced capabilities, positioning PT. Bonecom Tricom for continued success and innovation in the industry.
